The Workshop was held in Berlin for the first time in 2013. In 2014 it was incorporated in New Street Agenda.
The Workshop is, first and foremost, a workshop. But it is a bit more. You don’t just come and leave after a few days. You start by doing homework before we meet. That is not to spend valuable time in a classroom when we meet in a foreign city.
The Workshop is part of a new vision for photography and street photography. Learning is based on art and science and on learning from the great masters. And on visual communication.
Photography is a form of visual communication and there are resources at hand for everybody to use. We use them.
The Workshop is part of a development program, New Street Agenda. Once you get the feel of it you can hardly let it go. It is simply a new way of thinking about photography, including street photography. Gives you a vision that you never thought you had.
The next open workshop will be held in Berlin in 2015. In the meantime, I will develop a home study program for those who do not want to travel. It is a fully coached program that runs over three months.
Closed workshops are always possible to arrange. We have to be 4 participants as the minimum. Anyone is welcome to arrange it.
